It’s no fool...

Today 1st April is 7 years on the frequency 107.9 FM 📻

We launched on 107.9 FM April 1st 2019. Mighty Radio was established first in 2012 and we started with Rsl’s and broadcasting online for years.

Trevor Ford (Managing Director) said:

The years have gone by so quick, the Breakfast Show with MD Joinery always has a great response from the listeners and businesses. I still love getting up of a morning, talk about what's going on in Southport, mention local Birthdays and give out mentions.

Sean Connolly (Managing Director) said:

Mighty is still the talk of the town and we just love getting out there, helping the community and will always promote everything from local stories, to local events and help promote local community groups, singers, bands... its what Mighty Radio is all about.

Paul Tasker (Station Manager) said:

We have done so much within 7 years on FM. I’d like to thank all the on air team... presenters and everyone who has been part of Mighty Radio over the years we have been broadcasting. I would also like to thank our sponsors, clients, Mark James Cunningham and the team at Anthony James Sales & Lettings. I would also still like to thank Cassie James and Martin Hovden. They helped us from the start with Mighty and played a huge part with the Southport community. No longer here with us, but i know will be watching down on us with celebrations.
